definitely a nice game, buuut it has too many tiers, too much grind, too many levels and too many craftin benches (and at least when I played iI hated having ti scavange the items to keep in my inventory to craft, there are games who do this better)

Zenith will be a testament to all the things you SHOULD NOT do if you're making a VRMMO (and some of the things you SHOULD do of course, it's not completely made of mistakes alone). The bones in this corpse of a game could be fuel to help a FUTURE developer create something greater, that envisions what Zenith was SUPPOSED to be...There's probably a universe in which Zenith The Last City was not dropped and probably succeeded in making an Iconic VRMMO for the world to recognize and enjoy. Sadly, in this universe it tanked. One would think Skyland is the starter island, but in some weird way it's BOTH Endgame & Starter.... That NOT being quantifiable alone is a red flag, it shows the game didn't know what to do with itself, just as much as we didn't know what to do with it at this point.. Hell people couldn't even find the godstones they hunted for so persistently and this island was basically at the center of that nutty situation built purely on circumstance since shortly after the game itself was discontinued..

Okay I didn't play the game and just saw the video but the humor really falls flat. I like homages to other games but these feels like flat jokes without much behind them. Saying that games "today" won't do this kind of humor is probably due to it not being really funny. Boomer kind of humor, which is just not funny for a current generation. Also saying Tidus laugther is "cringy" means the person never played the game or doesn't understand a simple scene.

for some reason the music at 23:10 is reminds me of FF8. But i can't place it.

Growing up as a poor Balkan kid made me see through these shitty transaction games because I could never afford buying any of the BS. People to this day look at me strange when I tell them I to this day avoid buying games and pirate (though some of the wow servers for example have some donation options with rewards they rarely came close to the level of difference with other MMOs and also if people had the money to buy expensive gear they wouldn’t play a pirated server)

WarZ was what made me love survival games. Eventually ended up in tarkov and now since tarkov is also struggling I finally came off the survival drug. Until the next big game probably.

Without the micro transactions of e s o, there'd be no eso other bethesda games, unfortunately, unfortunately Bethesda funds everything with these microtransactions. Eso takes millions of dollars to keep running, but Bethesda makes millions of dollars in profits, keeping the game running. Unfortunately, those millions in profits are because of the microtransactions

Pvp in eso is awesome. People that don’t give it a real chance and don’t take the time to learn builds isn’t going to have a good time they’ll go in with tutorial gear and cry when they get decimated. Learn gear sets and come up with or find a build online and you’ll have a much better time

Ah when fantasy doesn't always have to be "dark and gritty". Rincewind would be proud!
